INTRODUCTION
Seeking new heights and new resonance.
Investing a formidable cost, we embarked on the design & development of our original wires.
With WAGNUS.’s first ever fully original pure silver recable,
the ultra-limited flagship model “Mouton Émeraude” is born.
Release early December; 25 units worldwide by special order.
Pure silver in its truest form — taken to the pinnacle of music.
What we aimed for in this work is something only WAGNUS. can achieve:
extracting the performance of 99.99% pure silver cable to the utmost,
and reaching beyond conventional hi-fi sound into the next horizon.
To realise an endlessly beautiful, clear, and smoothly textured soundscape —
and to bring the powerful conviction of every single note —
we refined the design of body diameter, twist pitch, insulation material and winding pitch.
We eliminated entirely the glare often associated with conventional silver wires,
instead maximising the essential brilliance and latent elegance —
developing anew with the aim of delivering each and every tone with the highest purity, to the very end.
Original Wire & Cable Details
The structure is built entirely from “99.99% pure silver”.
Based on a 10-core wire with each strand diameter chosen at 0.08 mm to extract a powerful sound image.
Silver offers among metals the highest level of conductivity —
minimising losses at connection points and inside the conductor for ultra-low signal paths from source to ear.
This wire is arranged in star-quad configuration: 4 cores twisted & tubed into one bundle, repeated for 4 bundles, then braided — yielding a massive 16-core recable (total 160 strands).
The star-quad geometry reduces loop area and suppresses induced noise, contributing to S/N improvement, stable imaging, and tightly controlled low-end.
The amount of pure silver used in this work is tremendous:
in length, each recable consumes some 24 meters of wire — a super-high-cost design.
Yet we do not treat it as mere luxury — we elevate it as sound and visual value commensurate with its cost.
Wire Insulation Treatment
We adopt the “silk‐wrapping” familiar from WAGNUS.’s Sheep series.
The beautiful emerald-green coating is silk-based.
Silk is a natural material with low dielectric constant, low dielectric loss, and light mechanical damping.
It suppresses high-frequency clouding and enables a natural sound attack.
Moreover, for this work — our first original development to adopt —
“Single silk wrapping” (slimmer, better handling) and
“non-Litz structure pure silver stranded wire” (stronger cohesion and unity of sound) are specified.
With low-dielectric + low-loss insulation, high-conductivity pure silver, and the star-quad’s low loop area —
phase delay, minute-signal attenuation, and induced noise are all minimised.
Clarity and quietness extend from edge to edge of the soundstage.
Extreme Purity via Original Technology
We fully adopt our WAGNUS. original, world-class solder “Aqua Augu” — built to eliminate electrical transmission loss and achieve overwhelming purity.
And “Mouton Émeraude” shows the path beyond the sound world we were pursuing.
Sound Details

HIGH

An extreme combination of beautiful silkiness and richness, with a streak of sharpness that pierces straight through.
The detail of granularity and smoothness coexist in another dimension, and there's astonishing lateral spread and transparency as if light is scattered.
Cymbal decay and harmonics are presented as richly detailed information.
The high purity unique to pure silver, filtered of all roughness, meets precise performance.
MID-HIGH

With commanding transparency and realism as its axis, detailed imaging and spatial micro-detail are expressed with precision.
Beyond delicacy, we see solid power — the impression of output is strong.
Acoustic guitar timbre, granularity, and imaging spread; even minute fluctuations or delayed reverberations are traced beautifully.
In the spatial depth and breadth, a distinct and three-dimensional sound image is established, delivering immersive presence.

Vocals’ breath and note attack are vivid; the core musical elements are extracted and supported with high stability.
For guitars and pianos, each contour and tactile sense is sharply separated yet harmonised naturally.
In addition to a horizon-style soundstage, across the entire stage we achieve beautifully balanced expressiveness.
MID-BASS

A thick, robust yet clean and informative bass line.
Bass movement and picking nuance, string vibration — all vivid and clear; remarkable skeletal formation. Its connection to the low end is extremely smooth and natural.
It brings groove with a unified rhythm to the whole.
Consistently powerful and clear, the tone further emphasizes sound-image dimensionality.
BASS

Bottom-end with depth and density; onset from abyss with speed; filling the lower layer of the sound stage richly.

Its greatest feature is an as-yet-unexperienced, astonishing left-to-right expansiveness.
As boundless and three-dimensional as a horizon; each tone is glossy and refined, forming a super-smooth sound image.
And yet there is no lack of vertical dimension — the overall sound balance is of high purity and equilibrium.
Spatial expression, three-dimensional imaging, granularity of sound all unfold in full 3D.
The refined transparency and precision merge with rich bass, delivering a super-minimal, modern, premium high-end sound that seems to remove the veils.

Brass Precision-Milled Plate & Slider
For “Mouton Émeraude” we produced bespoke logo plate & slider,
machined from brass — over time the natural wear and patina will become your unique texture.
Jewelry decoration
As befitting Mouton Émeraude, an optional “Emerald single adornment” offers jewelled decoration (paid option).
Note: Our attention lies in the “single” rather than double adornment.
Paulownia Wood Box & Wrapping Cloth
For the special luxurious packaging of “Mouton Émeraude”, we created an original paulownia wood box (domestic origin; vertical grain; outer dimensions 14.7cm × 14.7cm; inner 13cm × 13cm) bearing a laser-engraved brand logo at the lower left.
Paulownia has long been used for preservation of Japan’s national treasures and important cultural properties, strongly shielding from external temperature and humidity.
We provide this specially so you may store the pure-silver cable with care.
Additionally, an original cloth with the brand logo (double-suede; 35cm × 35cm) is included to gently wrap the cable body.

Twist treatment and winding direction focused on the frequency-balance axis.
Using WAGNUS.’s signature solder “Aqua Augu”, in addition to temperature management and refined assembly technique — all handmade with care, to realise the highest sound quality.
Cable maestro Haru Wagnus — himself a pro mastering engineer — and his team poured engineering into creating the supreme portable cable, generously using the finest wire.
Based on the core principles “electrical transmission”, “conductor resistance”, “dielectric constant”, “structural geometry”, “manufacturing technique” — and from professional musicians’ viewpoint “extremely musical & ultra-high-sound-quality” — the result has arrived. Break-in Approximation
Due to cable characteristics, after several hours of break-in the cable will reveal its full potential.
After approximately 5-10 hours you may notice sound changes; we suggest evaluating after break-in.
Full break-in may take several days, but even early on the sound is exceptionally good. We hope you enjoy it.
